The Beasts...

She sure is a tank. No floorboards worth mentioning, gas tank is held up by a ratchet strap, the doors are all rusted and the interior is totally shot...but she runs like a raped ape. You guys weren't kidding when you referred to the 89 as the hot rod of the gen 1 world. This guy must have the pump maxed, because she rolls the coal like I've never seen and pegs the 30 PSI boost gauge and keeps pulling hard.

I also pulled this guy home this weekend:

Sent you a PM regarding leftovers.

Startin to look like my house. You have officially been bitten by the first gen bug. Next you'll be buying a parts truck for the dually and so on. it's very addictive. The junkers always run the best. The ol 89's had bigger injectors and they do run.

You're right, won't work. The 89 has 9mm injector tips which won't fit in the other truck's 7mm injector bores

Man, I would keep that 89 and run it untill you find a worse condition truck for a tranny swap! Heck of a work truck!

Is that a bypass oil system on your blue truck?

I'm guessing it's a repaint. Under hood and firewall, which should be the same body color as the exterior, looks like it's dark blue or black?

Nice BEAST!!

Thanks.
