BD exhaust??

Summit Racing is advertising a turbo back 4" exhaust for first gens for $332.95. I looked at the BD website and other places and could find no reference to this kit even existing. Is this for real or are they on crack? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

The problem is I thought Stan's Headers and Source Automotive were the only two that offered a true turbo back exhaust for us. I tried calling but Summit was not much help. They just reread me the ad. I'm not sure I trust that. If this is true then it's a great buy. Anyone know for sure?

i googled the part # and several vendors list it (all at about the same price) but all the others call it a cat-back, summit is the only one i found listed as turbo back. if its turbo back its a great deal, cat back not so much.

Well, I just took the bait. $343 shipped to my door. True 4" turbo back, uses stock hangers (or stock hanger mount locations) and has a muffler. Direct bolt on for the W and D series long beds.

They have sold out of them for now so there is a 2 week back order.

When I get the system I will take pictures. If it is not as described by Summit they will take it back and pay return shipping. So I do not mind giving it a try.

Boy if this is true.that is about the 4'' exhaust system I sure would like to know. Around the St.louis area you can't beg borrow or steal a system like that. So 91.5ctdbanks when you get more info please let all us 1st gen know.

It's showing $441.00 for the two wheel drive here. It appears to be turbo back though from the picture.

Keep us informed as I would upgrade to the 4" if that is the price. I don't know why they have two different prices on the site though for what appears to be the same system.

Couldn't wait....I took Stan's bait and ordered his kit Tuesday afternoon. I should get it tomorrow. Finally a "real" exhaust. I miss the 4" straight pipe on my old truck something fierce.

Got a call from Summit Racing today. The BullyDog 4" system is in and ready to ship however the package is too large to ship UPS. So they will send it freight and the freight company will contact me to schedule delivery. So, it's a big system......
