Battery Cables
#2
Re:Battery Cables
I replaced my negitive cable a year or so ago. I got one from the dealer. The price was under 60.00. I checked and the price for the positive cable was about the same, under 60.00. I have a 92 so the cables might be a different number. If you have the numbers, go to www.parts.com and search for the best price.

Your dealer should cut you some slack if you tell him you can get OEM parts cheaper. I usually get the price off the internet and ask them to deal.

If you need the numbers let me know.

Jim

Another option is to make your own using welding cable. Most tractor and equipment dealers/shops have the end connectors. If you go this way, it may save you a little $, but will take a little time. I'm lucky as I have a roll of wire. Just food for thought.
Ed
