Banks Big Head wastegate / manual boost controller

two different, but somewhat related, questions...

1. anybody know the stock setting on a Banks Big Head? the 12cm wg housing I bought had one already installed, so I have no manual, no instructions, nothing...does the amount of preload I put on it effect when it opens?

2. the manual boost controllers I've seen people use...do they just allow the stock one to open later? (i.e. at higher PSI)...or can they also make one open earlier?

Thanks.
Greg

I don't know the stock settings on the Banks setup. I'm sure if you called their tech support people they would help you get it set to stock so you have a baseline. The preload does affect the opening pressure.

A MBC can only delay wastegate operation.

That's about where mine is. Been thinking about playing with the adjustment.
