Banjo bolt washer material?
As many times as I've had the top off the pump I've never paid attention to the composition of the AFC boost line bajo bolt washers. I'm installing the 366 spring and have been very mindful of parts. Mine are a type of plastic. Seems like every reference to them that I've heard has been copper. Copper is what I'm familiar with too. Is this "normal"/OK/acceptable? I had the Dodge Boys rebuild the IP about a year or so ago...
The stock part number is 4429 728. What are they supposed to be?

I can't say for sure about the specific washer/seal that you are referring to, but I have acquired several fuel-line-fitting banjo-bolt seal/washers, from various sources, and made of nearly as many differing materials.
Some are simply copper washers.
Some are some type of plastic.
Some look to be rubber, sandwiched within a folded sheet-metal rim/edge.
All have seemed to fit and function as they should.
I always order more than I need, for those occassions when I take something apart and didn't think of the possibility of needing a washer.
By the way, I was in your country Saturday at the Three Trees Ranch Charolais Sale and will have to return either Monday or Tuesday to pick up another load.

My 89 uses the copper and SmokemS truck uses the plastic style. I like the plastic style because they stay on the bolt, seems the fit tighter, where as the copper you have to be careful not to drop one when you remove the banjo bolt.

Located right against I-64, North side of the interstate, East side of highway ?52?, at I-64 exit # 69, between Frankfort and Lexington.
I forgot that the second half of the sale was Angus; the first half was Charolais.
I have to pick up another load up there Tuesday.

What part of the country they going too?
This load actually we bought, so not anywhere exciting.
I'd buy you lunch but I have a meeting.
I never had a job where I got to go to a meeting.
Thanks for the thought about lunch; Grandma always said it was the thought that counted.
Could buy your breakfast depending on what time you pass through.
It probably will be more lunch-time-ish as I am sort of gonna watch the weather and wait for this monsoon to pass.

One of the calves was just born Saturday, and the rest aren't much older; one may have hit the ground since Saturday as she was a heavy springer.
I thought it best to not move them in so wet of conditions; I can keep the water off them, but the fog and damp air may not be too good for them.
Thanks for the offer; I'll take a rain-check.(I actually got a real rain-check, once many years ago, when our school group was at Daniel Boone Theater and it got rained out. I didn't get my twelve bucks back and never did get a chance to cash in my rain-check.)
Well, we got way off in left field, here; but, I guess it may be okay, seeing as how a 1st Gen. Cummins will be powering the truck that is pulling the trailer.

Well your rain check is good for anytime you're passing through!
Good luck with the new fall calvers. You must have a hay mine to be buying cows now.
