bad tire wear

Does bad springs in the front cause tire wear? My front pass side tire is bald (completly smooth on the outside) the inside has about 1/4" of tread. Front end has all new kingpins and tie rod ends. The springs are arching the wrong way, could this be why the tires are wearing. Need 4 new tires all around and I don't want the new ones to wear the same way. $500 for tires and $500 for springs

It's probably just toed out some if you're not having vibration, steering issues or other abnormal behavior. Get a tape and measure the same points on the tread from both the front and rear of the front tires about halfway up. They should measure close to equal or possibly a sixteenth more in back (toe in). Solid axle fronts can run well dead even or just slightly toed in. Toed out will produce the wear you describe.
