Back in the saddle again
Yep u heard me right, im back in the cummins saddle again! it isnt quite mine.....yet, and it comes in the form of a Black SLT Laramie '02 overvalve 3500 regular cab 4x4 auto flatbed. I have been using it to haul cows round the northeast for the past few weeks here. I gotta tell ya guys, I loved a 12 valve, and this rattle box has really grown on me. But it isnt as loud as most the 24's I have ever heard. Its bone stock for now, well other then a decent shift kit, and 220K miles (yes i like em used!) Im going to be BHAF'n it before too long, and its due for an exhaust sysem. N the boss was talkin bout an exhaust brake, thatd be very nice haulin these cows round here in these mountains. That 24Ft EBY trailer aint no light trailer either, then ya toss some cows in it say 10 1500 pound heifers, n ya got a nice load!
Man it feels good driving something with some power that sports some Cummins emblems again!
I know its not exactly 1st gen related, but sence ya'll are like familly to me, I thought it'd be fittin in here for the 1st gen guys to get an update.

lol, nahh, factory exhaust. Im workin on tryin to get at least a 4" turbo back stock exit exhaust. BUT as soon as that baby is mine, its gettin 6" flat tops run up outside the cab by the bed so they have the real "big truck" look but being totaly reasonable on a pickup. Then a FEW more lights. lol, I cant stand not havin all my lights workin on the flatbed right now. If it wasent 45 minutes from here id be down workin on it.

Id buy a fuel pressure gauge and a GDP lift pump or the likes before making the down payment. If I ever go VP it wont go 50 miles before all thats on there.

VP44 = Nightmare on Elm Street. I helped Dieseldude4X4 change two of them on his truck in a couple months time. It seems one of the electronic boxes fried them for lunch. That is the only experience that I have had with them, but that is enough for me. Stock they may be ok, I just don't want to find out.

hehehehehehe ya got that right!! Ya got that in there before i had mine all typed out. Like I said, a pair of tall looking, not so tall 6" pipes.
I already have my guage, and fueling plans layed out. Fass 150/95, vulcan draw straws, big line kit, ect. the farthest it'll go is the 45 miles from where it is now to my garage to get its fueling and guage upgrades.
OK, maybe not a FASS thats a lil pricey, but maybe just my own special lil kit. Aeromotive pump, filter relocate kit, gutted stock filter housing.......... I could go on and on.
Guess I'll have to get pictures huh?
