hey guys i wonderin if i turned up IP would it hurt my transmission

its a '92 club cab dually with 215,xxx on the clock all stock

It will be ok for a while but the more you turn it up the shorter the life will be.

ight thanks, i read your sig and i was wondering with the goerend converter do u have to buy a new valve body too?

Nope I just put a good shift kit in but if the trans works good you could just change out the converter. They make a great product.

all the mods in my sig on a bone stock transmission. I dynoed over 300hp at the wheels with it and its held up a lot better than i thought it would, it does slip a little bit sometimes and i've got a 47rh tranny sittin in my shop waitin to go in.

I would suggest if you do turn your pump up or do any mods I would highly recommend adjusting your bands and turning up your line pressure when you service your trans. Its in the sticky. It will run a lot better and last longer.
