Hello guys this is the first time i have posted, but i have been watching for a while.
I am swapping my 5speed in my 92 2wd with my auto in my 93 4wd they are both LEs and they are both extra cabs. both trucks run fine, i just keep getting stuck in the 2wd and i like to pull with the manual trans. any thing to watch out for . thanks C.L.S.

You need a NP205 from a manual trans or at least the input shaft with (correct me if I'm wrong) 29 spines.

Your also need the parts to bolt said transfer case to your 5 speed.

Driveshafts, I'm sure there is a length difference in them.

4x4 auto going into a 2x4 is going to need the 2 wheel drive OD unit and maybe some driveshaft work. Not to mention steering columns for shifting the auto. And probably some misc wiring for OD functions, etc.

Rattle box what i was thinking about was taking the cab off of the 4x4 along with the trans and swaping it with the cab and trans from the 2x4??? what about the transfer case from the 4x4 bolting up to the back of the five speed from the 2x4? thanks for your feed back.
