ARP Clearence (head gasket pretty much gone)
Anyone have any pictures on what needs to be clearanced on the rocker stands? My engine is starting to lope and it is using quite a bit of antifreeze, so I think I have put it off as long as possible...

If this has been going on for awhile, you might look down on a pretty cheesy piston when you pull the head.
Here's a recent thread on head studs with pictures.

Jeez, I hope I didn't hurt a piston. I plan on lapping the valves to check their contact area. If I have hurt a piston then I will just yank the engine and start saving for parts.

Check in on extream studs . Com, word on the street is they are holding up very well in tractors, and a few street trucks. They are supposed to be as strong as 625's. I have no experience with them yet, just what I've read.
