Anyone replace a few front leafs to fix sag?
Has anyone ever kept the main spring and gotten a few replacement leafs from a spring shop to fix the front sag? I don't want a lift, just to level it with the back, or get it close to level. This would be on a 92+ truck w/ the big spring blocks in back from the factory. I would think this would be a lit cheaper than the skyjacker fronts and not have the spring eye bushing issues. Experiences?

This is exactly what I did, my springs under my stock main leaf are 6" Skyjacker gas springs and the shackles are longer than stock at 6" from the center of the hole to center of the hole. The rear springs are stock and the truck sits level.

$100 to add a leaf, I think they are skyjackers, and a bunch of hours to get the old bushings out! In the end, truck is nice and level. I actually replaced one leaf from the original pack.
