Just wondering if anyone has a ported a non intercooled head. I'm going to have mine off here after a while and would like to do it. Just worried about cracking.

i've got my head off right now. it went to the machine shop and had .006" milled off of it. they did a "polish" job so to speak. which i was told they pretty much just ran a wire brush through the intake and exhaust runners and bowls just to take of the boogers inside. couldn't tell you about cracks though. but one thing you should do is gasket matching. you should still have enough meat if you gasket match. others who have ported and polished will chime in shortly. i know crazymatt has on his.
