Any Injectors besides PODs out there?

I have noticed that some of you guys run custom EDMs but from where? I know that DDP will sell them I think just by looking at Piers' website; but I do not however, know what kind of power they put out and if someone with experience could tell me what the difference would be in the different injectors if i were to go with them instead of the PODs which I plan on buying/installing soon. do all of the high flow injectors pop higher needing more timing or what? i have no idea

First, what do you use your truck for? Daily driver, tow, fun, mixed? What is your goal? BIG power, hot street ect. Once you establish that, call Piers, or Shied, or DDP, ect. We can all give you opinions, and experience, but when it comes down to just plain choosing injectors, the manufacturers/vendors are the best source for that info.

I really dont do a whole heck of alot of towing maybe a little bit and yes i would like to see some good power but i am wondering what options i have being on a small budget; PODs seem to be the best bang for my buck being that i am not wanting to spend big bucks.

I have New Era 370's in my truck. I had to turn the pump down some. I am happy with them. I get 35 lbs boost max now

Being on a budget, you can't pass them up. Anymore and you're going to want to go bigger on the turbo.

If you pull things I have heard that POD's can get way to hot. Like in my case, I pull backhoes and horses so POD's will smoke to much and get hot. I've heard that Bosch 190's are decent. Turning up your pump will help and so will HTT and a smaller exhaust housing.

I pull with the 190's and a stage IV HTT/16cm conversion. I still need to mind the EGT gauge. I let off when it goes to 1300, but have seen 1450 in the blink of an eye. I think the muffler has a little to do with it, but it is so noisy without it.

well shoot that doesnt matter all that much i dont do much towing like i said and i breathe pretty well now and have plans for a stage 3 comp wheel upgrade so i guess there are bigger things to worry about. like i said i am just wondering if there are many injectors out there that are comparable with PODs in power and price; i guess i should've stated it that way in the first place. like i said im not worry about getting too hot cos i can always put in a homeade water meth and like i said about the comp wheel upgrade so i guess ill get to the bottom line....are there any injectors that are in the same power range but also in the same price range or are PODs the way to go?(like i originally thought )

does the 16 housing cause an increase or decrease in EGTs?

my pump is turned up to about 190 hp and i have stock injectors thinking of going with the pod's or 185/190 injectors.

they would probably allow less air to move at higher rpms but it would help your turbo spool which should clear it up good through the mid band im guessing...IMO, i would not go for the 185s because if youre ging to spend $700 on a set of injectors go with some custom EDMs or some higher powered injectors if you are looking for more power...thats just my opinion.

Youre on the right track with the POD's. Definate smoking and heat issues if you're pulling but, bang for the buck.... POD's CAN NOT be beaten. I would go for them in your case with a compressor upgrade. Also, I would go straight for the Stage 4 as far as that goes
