another how much would you pay thread
My dad retired his 90 W250 reg cab on the farm. Engine runs great, trans was rebuilt a couple of years ago.
The body is a complete shambles. Was used as a cattle feeding truck and they get alittle rough on ya, dodge sheet metal doesn't stand up to 1500lbs of beef very well
I could get the truck for 3K and sell the bed that is on it for at least 2k.
The plan in the back of my head is to build a cummins powered rock buggy with the parts someday or use it for spare parts for my truck.
1K for the engine, 727 trans, NP205, and a D61/D71 combo sounds like a good enough deal to me.
The axles are basically worthless for offroad use with the high gear ratio, but maybe I could sell them to some highway cruiser. Run a set of rockwells instead
What do ya think?

since it's your dad's you know how it's been treated. i'd pay $1000 for a bedless truck with crappy sheet metal. as long as you are sure you can get that for the bed, go for it.
