I looked over the other thread and my problem with the cruise is a bit different... cruise engages fine but you'll be going along and all of a sudden the speedo needle takes a jump and the cruise will accelerate the truck..then it will cruise at the new speed, needle gives a jump..and accelerate again..until by now you're going too much over the limit to feel comfortable. Slow down to legal speed, and it starts this all over. OD shifting is fine...just replaced speed sensor on tranny thinking that's what was making the needle jump..no change...problem with wiring??? Can anyone tell me for certain that the speed sensor on the rear diff for ABS is not tied into this at all? By the way, with cruise off, my needle still does the jumping thing,,,not constant..just once in a while.
