Alternate Tail- Light Bulbs ??
I just learned that there is a HEAVY DUTY version of the standard 1157 brake/tail-light bulb.
#198 is supposed to fit where the #1157 fits and is supposed to be heavier duty.
Can anyone confirm this ??
Will the #198s be brighter than the #1157s ??
Thanks.

2357's are brighter on brake but the same on taillight. Life is shorter for the bright filament.

Check with fellow DTR member Jim Lane. He's apparently done quite a bit of research with alternate lighting of the 1st gen trucks. A bunch of work with LED's if I recall correctly.
