I got all my stuff from Airflo this afternoon. There wasn't much to putting everything in. I popped the BHAF back on to enjoy the whistle for a while and I was able to get one of the rubber 45's to go over the BHAF inlet. I have a small piece of 4'' pipe on the BHAF inlet for strength. I hit the flange with a little 3m spray adhesive and re-used the factory 5'' clamp. I'm quite satisfied with the seal and I did my best to beat on the truck, for testing purposes only , and everything remained in tact, up to and including 1500 degrees pre turbo If it stops raining tomorrow, I'll snap some pics. What really got my attention is how much quicker the turbo spooled. The factory ribbed air inlet must really slow things down. So, this is it for spending $$ on the truck for a while. I have a house to build this summer, after all. Of course, the seal to the crossover pipe could be improved upon...Jeff does have the intercooler kicking around....air bags would be nice, and there's always water meth and custom edm's.....oh boy. Hey thats cool!! Where did you get the airflow intake at? sounds like it is worth getting. It will be cool to see some pictures of it i can't wait

www.airflo.com is a big truck parts house. I ordered a couple 45* rubber elbows, some 4'' intake pipe, some 4'' clamps and pieced it together myself. A few folks have gone this route and we now refer to it as the 'airflo' intake. Here's Wannadiesel's:

WOW! I like it alot. does it help with gas milage? what did you have be fore this new airflow system?

I was looking at you pic's and i saw that you had nerf bars where did you get them i have been looking for some for a std cab but they don't make them, only for an extended cab.

Not sure on gas mileage--I've never put gas in my truck (sorry, couldn't resist) All I had before was the stock air intake hose, but my turbo upgrade required a bigger inlet than the factory hose provided, hence the upgrade. In all seriousness, it likely won't affect fuel economy, but spool is improved for sure, which was a plesant surprise

You just missed them---they took a trip with my last scrap metal run---I couldn't give them away around here...They were custom made and welded to the frame, and really meant for a lifted truck with big meats. They just looked out of place with my saggy springs and itty bitty tires

is the measurement of your "turbo upgrade" the same stock as far as the 45-degree rubber elbows?

i.e. are 4" elbows the factory size?

how does the rubber elbow at the BHAF mount attach to the BHAF? do you just have a small section of 4" aluminum tubing to connect them?

nevermind...I went back and read your post and think I got it...

will 1' of 4" pipe do it? or do you need to order 2' and cut it down (which would give you a piece to use to sleeve the elbow to the BHAF, too)...

I ordered 2' to be safe, but I used less than half. I you retain the original airbox, I imagine you'd need to be more exact in your measurements. My BHAF just kind of hangs out in the fenderwell...

you said you used the factory 5" clamp...does that mean it takes a 4"-5" reducer rubber elbow on the turbo end?

I used the 'force fit' method, hehe. It seems to be working, though I'll be keeping an eye on it. The 3m spray adhesive should help.

Well thanx anyway I think that I will get some 94's and measure the centers on them and retro fit it to my truck.

Looks just like my set-up except that I never got around to installing a heat shield. I got the parts from airflow too.

Not to be a pain, but do you guys have the part numbers for the rubber elbows you used? I think I'll invest in this setup!
