AFC lever ground......

I can rarely get up to 30psi with my setup that this altitude. I'm hoping the AFC grind along with cooling the intercooler will get it up there.
If the IC chiller doesn't work the way I want I will use some of the parts to do the water/meth injection. The stage IV is going to have to wait now that I had to spend $140 on a stupid tensioning pulley!

I think I would have been shaking chunks of turbo impeller out of the intercooler too. I only ran it that way for a couple weeks and I tried very hard to play nice. I only hit 50 psi once, while racing a turboed Camaro. I noticed the gauge and backed off immediately.

That's friggin awsome! I smoked my clutch beating a Z-28 (late model) . No more no lift shifts until I get a feramic!
I wonder what the stage III will do for me....

What kinda boost increase would you think i'd see from a ground fuel pin. I know it depends how much you grind it, but what do you think a ballpark range would be?
I'm sure i'm hitting right around 35 PSI right now, and i have the 18.5 non-wastegated housing, so i have no way of bleeding off the extra boost i could produce with a ground fuel pin. I guess it's just about time to breakdown and get the 14 w/g housing. I'm sure the 14 would help keep the smoke down as well because if i mash it at low RPM it's leaves a HUGE cloud until the turbo spools.
Do you guys think that with the AFC lever ground, custom fuel pin, and pump cranked up to the max it would be a decent fueling scenerio for twins?
Or do we need the KTA rotor/head?

I bet you're closer to 40 psi than 35. You need to get an adequate boost gauge on there ASAP. I don't want you to pull a FearTheDeere on your truck. Do you have a cheapo oil pressure gauge laying around? Pressure is pressure, get something on there and find out for sure how much boost you are pushing. I bet you can hit 42 psi.
Grinding the fuel pin will get you another 3 psi or so.
I think you'll be able to spool a small set of twins just fine. Swank's seem to work for him, they're an HX-35 hybrid and an HT3E.
You definitely need a wastegated housing or an external wastegate. If you can weld cast iron an external 'gate can be done cheaper than buying a 14 WG housing.

Everything I have found so far. fuel screw AFC ground my own fuel pin.
It sure don't smoke as much as some I have seen. its a new pump I had it rebuilt about 5k miles ago.

Something is wrong. Do you have an open exhaust? I guess that 12 could be causing backpressure.... but it sounds like not enough fuel. You need POD's.

With my setup with the 12cm housing I push 28psi and if I lug it I can still make it smoke a lot. Stock injectors also.
Have you taken the lock collar off the fuel pin?
