Advancing timing, pump is hard to move.
How do you get that dang pump to move 1/8 of an inch? Any magic bullet, always moves 'em tips? DTR member Thumbs and I were trying to bump my timing up, we were prying, tapping, using Channellocks, we couldn't get more than 1/16 so we gave up and locked it down there. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks again Gary for your help.

I'm going to ask the obvious. Did you loosen all 4 bolts? Some seem to miss the lower one below the distributor head.
Mine with all the bolts loose would not budge either. I had to loosen all the injection lines first then it was easy to move.

I had to loosen off the injector lines at the delivery valves and also loosen the injector line clamps. Also, dont forget to unscrew the banjo bolt that screws into the top of the AFC head and runs to the intake.

Yeah, we got all 4 bolts, but I didn't want to loosen up the fuel lines because nothing leaks. I guess if I need more timing once I do injectors I'll have to do it right. It definitely pulls stronger with just the 1/16 of an inch we did get.
