Added 160HP to the stable

Just Picked up another 93, 5 speed, clean as a whistle and it's a virgin. Has been a long time since I've driven a stock VE and I now can remember why we turn up these trucks.

Thanks, It's under the knife right now. It's muffler just fell off. I turned the fuel pin (til alwaysworking gets ahold of me). All new fluids, and adjusted the rear breaks. With my luck being what it is I just ran out of gas for the mig and I need to weld up the lower door heng.
Gonna adjust the valves after dinner. And I need to pull the passenger window regualtor apart, it's going up slow.
Also the steering shaft needs to be replaced, I will order one tomarrow.
I'm really thinking about leaving this one stock height, what do you guys think?

Belive me I'm looking to move back. Once I get my fleet of junk sold off and the kids are out of school them I do think I'll hook some trailers up and be gone from this oven we call arizona!
Oh and something else I found out, some one changed it over to 134a. So I guess I'm gonna have to change out the whole a/c system so I can get r12 back in. I'll try to just charge it with r12 first but if it was done right the oil has already gotten into all of the rubber and it will never cool right. Oh well just time and money.

You may luck out and be able to flush the system and be ok. On my old 90,someone mixed r12 and 134,had it flushed and the a/c guy put freeze12 back in it and it was ok... I had no tint on the back window and in the summer time out here it felt like it was never cool in the cab..

Thanks you sir. One of my favorite singers. The only way I can get an old country station in my bay at work is to run a car radio with an antenna to the top of the building. The whole shop makes fun of me but I'd rater hear an old country song than any of the rock/roll that most others in the shop listen to. Its a real redneck thing I got atop of my toolbox, but it by far servs it perpouse!
Plus the song is true. Well maybe switch out the faster horses for faster trucks, although I like my horses fast too!

I remember driving these trucks back in the day when they were new. i thought the stick shift ones were a blast. The auto ones made me think of an annoying, noisy, four legged, furry creature that barks which is commonly kept as a pet.

Too Much. The guy that was selling it wasn't the real owner. He was selling it for a friend that "went way for a while". I kinda got the hint he was in jail? And he would only budge on the price a little.
It's preaty clean, a few dints and a couple of chips in the paint. The interior is in good shape for what the truck was used for (old logging truck). The window regs need to be relubed, and I need to go through the 18 miles of wire under the dash for the alarm and sixteen or so trailer break controlers that have been added on over the years.
But it's gonna be a work in progress. Should be all up and good by sat night. Then the fun begins.
