93 LE Edition, OEM two-tone paint question
I’m preparing to paint my truck (1993 LE Edition, color solid metallic tan that Mopar calls “wet champagne”). I’m going to leave the base color of the truck tan but I’d like to paint a 17-inch accent stripe on the sides (like OEM on the two-tone trucks) in metallic green.
Question: What is the OEM color scheme on the tailgate for a two-tone truck? That is, for a red truck with a silver accent stripe, is the area on the tailgate below the LE Edition stainless panel red or silver? If it’s silver, then where does the paint break from red to silver on both the top and bottom of the tailgate? What color are the tailgate “jambs” (i.e., the edges of the tailgate that don’t show when tailgate is closed)? And lastly, what color should the pin striping be at top edge of the accent stripe (completely around the truck except for the grill)?
Hopefully this isn’t too confusing. There are many photographs of First Gens on the website, but I cannot seem to find photos of tailgates. Thanks in advance.

tailgate question
My red plastic trim piece on the tailgate (above the Dodge lettering) is starting to peel off. You can see where water and dirt has worked it's way down behind the red panel. Anyone ever pull it off and reattach it with some adhesive or something?
