W150-Nice looking rig....glad to be a part of your club....I love when she gets scratched....spray...spray...fixed!
92, seriously, truck rides awesome. I was gonna go 6" but the 4" is pretty dang big...bigger than I thought...so I am glad I went 4". Pullin those loads was nice, it didn't even sag in the back....just do it....don't think about it...do it...haha!

Yeah 4" is all I want to go, and I know where to get some 35" tires on some 16" rims too. where did you get your lift? and how much? and how bad was it to put in? I bet it rides better because you take the 6" block out of the rear right?

Smokin', yeah, I'll get 35's soon. Big Twin Diesel installed it, it was about $2000, installed....I don't have a big enough compressor to do it (running an air gun), and all the tools....plus, they had a bear of time...cause everything is crusty and rusted....broke a bunch of stuff, and had to torch a bunch.....its still got a block in the rear, but I put new leafs in all around as well, mine were shot. The nitro 8000 shocks probably help it ride too....

thats a little more pricey than I thought, but I guess that ain't bad for it being installed and what not. Its a skyjacker one right? how much does just the lift kit cost? do you know? I'd probably put mine in myself or at least try. Does it still use the factory block?

92, I looked for you today (yeah, the block is still used....) I also figured you would do it yourself
I think, unless you know someone @ sky jacker, your gonna pay around a grand starting, and if you go with Skyjacker shocks, (yeah its a 4" skyjacker, sorry, forgot to answer that) steering stabilizers, (I went dual), pitman arm, adjustable drag-link, some new nuts and bolts, (I don't think you need brake lines, mine are still being used) alignment, etc....$1200-$1500, plus freight, plus taxes...yes, they will tax you on out of state orders now...that depends how you want it shipped etc....I'd say around $1500 to be safe....but it does ride awesome....I'll post some close ups...

do you mean with the carrier bearing? Not sure what you mean. I didn't have to get my shaft lengthened.....had to drop it a bit....I replaced the u-joint yesterday on the rear pumpkin coming into the drive shaft...

I paid 400 for my 4'' skyjacker fronts and 300? for 6'' rear springs (W/2.5'') block. 50 apiece for rancho 5000's and another 70-80 for a raised steering block. I dont remember how much u bolts were. This was a little over 2 yrs ago also. I ordered springs from the net, the rest I sourced locally. Installed all myself w/no powertools. took 2 days

No did you have to get the double U-joint borgeson steering shaft with a 4" lift? I've heard if you lift it then you need a double u joint steering shaft instead of the rag joint. Did you have to change the driveshaft angle any?
