9/16" wheel stud upgrade

I recently upgraded my rear wheel studs, and will do the fronts soon. I was doing a brake job on the back of the truck and did the wheel studs at the same time. I have chrome wheels from a 2nd gen that I put on 7 years ago and I never have used the center caps yet since they didn't grab the smaller lugs. I couldn't find any lugs with a 1/2" thread and 15/16" hex to solve the problem, so I finally swapped the studs. I went to the Autozone with one of my old studs and matched it to one that would fit in the same holes in the hub and drum just with a larger threaded portion. The part # is 98726.1 and I bought the first 16 for the back diff from autozone for 1.99 each. The shoulder length is just a wee bit longer so after pressing them into the drum/hub if a guy threaded the lugs on without a wheel present the lug will run out of threads and stop leaving a small gap between the lug and the hub. This is a small gap and even a steel wheel is thick enough that the studs still work fine. I haven't done the front yet but I went to Autozone and looked up the oem stud for a 4500 pound front axle and then searched through all of the 9/16" studs to find a match. Well it appears that the 98726.1 is the perfect match. So I expect not to have any unthreaded portion showing on the front after I get these babies in there! Also I bought the second batch at Advance auto parts since they price them at 1.68 each.
