Last night before heading out to a Bar-B-Que at the neighbors, I had time to grease the whole front end and I located one of my "rattles"
It is a loose OEM band clamp on my front passenger side leaf spring. Since everything on the rig was taken apart and then re-assembled, I try to pay attention to random rattles and noises.

I also took the 10 seconds to take another turn out of adjustment nut on the new spring gate. If this gets me my 30 PSI max I am looking for I will double nut it. It has a nylon lock nut on it that looks like the lock feature is about done.

I also checked the function of all the lights as I have a yearly state inspection appointment tomorrow morning.

Thanks T-man for posting those pictures.
I thought you guys might like a look at the spring gate assembly I found to use.
From the research I have done on the web, it seems like an old BD set up.
I am liking the ease of adjustability of it.

The RC past state inspection yesterday with flying colors.
I took it to different local shop it had never been too, so it stopped all work in the shop for a while as the three shop techs and the owners checked it out. Rust free old sheetmetal [and clean Cummins conversions] blows people's minds out here.

Sorry it is upside down, but every time you send me a photo, it comes in upside down.

I tried a bunch of different ways to correct it, but it had no effect.

Maybe hold your iPad differently the next time you shoot something

Thanks Guys!
Upside down on those three pictures was not very confusing. I mostly just wanted to show you guys what I found that worked well for me.
I saw several "home built" spring gate sets up on youtube or the like.

This looked clean with its aluminum brackets and such, but I had my doubts that the little spring would have the mustard to get the job done. The longer lever arm for the turbo flapper makes the light duty spring perfect.

I thought with a few pictures, guys like Mknittle could make one of these on there kitchen table on a rainy day.

Oliver, I did a little searching this morning and the only thing that came close to what you have is for the chebbies, I wonder if someone used something like that and fabbed the piece that hooks to the waste gate on the holset? (and I even researched vintage bd products)

I did the same thing for an hour.
BD offers it in three versions for Hummers or other Chevy stuff now, but most of the parts are a little different looking in the way they mount up.

At $150, you could make something for less if you where creative. That is why getting those pictures posted for you guys was important to me.

I'd also like to see it all mounted up.

I will see what I can get for a picture of it mounted from under the rig.
