smix smevin slix mevin slix slevin........... blaah!!! lol, didnt work. what is a 62-71 s300? and how will it get 400 hp? i may have to swap over to ve pumps. i thought 300 hp was nowhere near possible with a ve pump. but you guys are going to prove me wrong. my bro has a 92 cummins and i want to help him make 300-350 hp with his truck
what do i need to build a 350 hp motor? bigger delivery valves, injectors, governor spring?

if that was for me , i have only had 1 dennyt pin . im making more power now i just havent been back to the dyno to find out with all the port work the 12 cm housing was holding the truck back i put a 18.5 back on there ported and polished of course and it really came to life . i wasnt having any problem with the clutch with the 12 cm and pulling 2 85 model chevy trucks on my 36 ft goose neck trailer ,they were full size and 4x4 and no clutch slip given it hell the hole time even pulling big big hills and i put the 18.5 on there and it intally started blowing threw the clutch in 4-5 gear empty so i sent it back to south bend and they relined it and its doing good now . maybe in a couple weeks i can get back to the dyno and find out .

he was making fun of you because you have denny t pin twice in your sig... lol.
why dont you have propane or water-meth? you have got to be running hot on the exhaust.
i have a 3rd gen turbo and exhaust manifold. what if i put that on there with a 3rd gen twin kit from aroura? it would bolt up just fine. and theres plenty of room in the truck.
o0o i could put the twin turbos on my 1/2 ton ford, i have another overdrive tranny to put on it. then take the gov springs out. and put my delivery valves and go to bonneville. it alredy runs 111 at 2650. i need some goodyear eagles! why does everyone at bonneville have goodyear eagles? do they give those away or what? is it mandatory? i probly cant run my MUD TRACS huh?

What lift pump you running? how you getting fuel to the Ve?

A stock non i/c truck with a few pump tweaks can pull fuel pressure to 0 at WOT, which BTW is not good

i am running a gasoline electric pump too from my ford. the thing went out on me yesterday tho. it starvs for fuel now, it cant pull it through that dead pump. still runs tho. i will have to wait for a few paychecks tho to get a new one, hope nothing gives out on me!! i always get asked why dont i do away with the electric pumps. trust me, its easier that way!! lol, long story. i bought me a gov spring kit for my lil bros truck and we are going to grind the afc lever or whatever it is inside the pump to git some more fuel from the ol ve. we are going to do the thing with the throttle linkage too!! ill let ya know how it turns out

yeh i had first hand exprience with this, the piston pump is a wonder from the diesel gods, top that with no psi at WOT and a pencil lead size whole in the fuel pickup tube and it sucks air like a 747. not good with a 3200 spring and 17 year old kid looking for peformance. im gonna kill the hong kong dude that rapped my fuel gauge wires around my fuel pickup tube, it was neet and almost cut it in two.
