89 D250 Front End

Need to know if any 89 150 parts will fit to a D250 front end

I had the truck 53 days- new battery , new ulpolstery, oil chg - sitting still at intersection with a m carlo slid into left front
I waited 10 yrs to get a truck for heavy hauling and got tagged by a gasser. What can I get to show interchange of parts?- Local dodge dealers are isuzu pimps. Need solid advice - Thanks

If you have an '89 or '90 truck, everything will fit like it grew there.

Well, it depends on what parts you're talking about really. The internals of the axles won't interchange, and diff brakes and so on. The axle assemblies would probly swap relatively easily, but I'm not sure on the difference in the steering linkage. What exaclty are you trying to swap?

Most everything will fit from any 88 and 89 1st gen plus a few others. I am not sure of the header panel because of the radiator but I am sure that the fenders, hood, and lights will fit. Not sure of suspension parts but the control arms throughout the 80's will interchange, just have to change the ball joint from the gasser. I just had to do it.

Core suport will be different due to radiator opening (larger for diesel) as far as front suspension parts go, 150 & 250 (under 8750 gvw) parts will not work on the cummins 250 (all diesel 250's are over 8750) & 350's

I may be missing something here, but the the gvwf on my plate shows 3830 lbs. I think that classifies it as a 4k front end when I buy parts. I am attaching the interchange printout for this item. As I said, I don't know if Dodge used any other frontends on the '89 diesel. I hope this printout is readable.
