89 D250 Cummins for an w250 Gasser?

I want a 4 wheel drive truck, the problem is that my d250 cummins isn't ha-ha. I have had my diesel for 14 years and haven't had any problems. Would it be a bad trade to trade my diesel for a w250 gasser?

Do a conversion. best of both worlds. That is what I am doing.
It really is a pretty common swap.
