Ok, I will be moving soon in the early Spring and looking to put a canopy on my 93' Ram. What are the exact factory measurements for the bed rails (width/length)? I measured mine today and came close to 98" long and 71" wide.......am I close to what the factory advertises for dimensions? My other question is if the 89-93 Dodge pickup beds have the same or very close dimensions compared to other brand pickups (Chevy, Ford, etc)? If so, what years? I will probably go shopping for a "used" canopy soon and would like to know what I should be looking for compatability-wise. Thanks

'87 and older Chebbys use the same shells as '72-'93 Dodges if that helps.

if it has wings it fits

fords with wing windows fit also
80 and up will fit better than 79 and down

no wings no fit

Interesting info about canopy compatability........in a nut shell: Most wing-window full size pickups will work It's good to know that I have some variety to search from.
