Thats awesome! You should tell us how much it all cost! Then I can show my wife thats its still cheaper to build an old 1 of a kind truck then buy a new/newer one. Awesome job!

85 crew cab cummins build...-photo0235.jpg

total cost as of right now is over 20k...but thats not what matters, every nut and bolt is to my satisfaction. is it perfect for a 25yr old truck? no, but pretty darn close!!

stay tuned for the stereo install

I am in to mine about 6k, but I inherited the crew and already owned a running and reliable donor. Biggest cost, paint and body (including a spray in bed liner), second biggest, interior.

James, Your truck is looking sweet.

i bought all of the lights from a guy named allen mansfield from the dodge boys performance. it sucks though cause he closed the store not so long ago when i talked to him last. im not sure where he got them from though.

had to take a break for a bit, but now im making progress again...seats, carpet and most of the audio is in. still have a little bit of wiring to finish up and ordered the stuff needed to install remote power locks. here is a couple of pics:

there was a big hole here where some plastic trim used to go...i was having a hard time finding the pieces and said to hell with it!!! so i made a panel out of metal and welded it in and it now holds two mbquart 6.5's on each side for a total of four. i also have installed a mbquart 6x9 in each door, its all powered by xtant amplifiers. i still have to make a small box for behind the back seat for the shallow mount mbquart subs i purchased. i have a pioneer head of front controlling it all, it sounds so awesome at this point but cant wait to get the subs in to fill in the bottom of the spectrum.

Your truck looks great.
Can you give me some more info on that carpet you have in the truck. I need carpet now for my crew cab.
Thanks
