lol im hardly rich and not even close to being "famous"...
if anyone is wondering what the silver stuff on the floor is, its a industrial rust preventative called stop rust. its the first time i have used it but its awesome! you can put it straght over rust and in 72hrs you can not chip it off with a hammer! it locks the metal down hard.
and as far as going to the dealership and buying one, you wouldnt have too. this one may be for sale when finished, but it will take one rediculous offer!

About the stop rust, where do You get it? Have You used por15 before, how does it compare? I read the por15 needs a primer to stick first.
Thank You.

this product does not require a primer to adhere to the metal. you lightly roll or spray a coat then let it set for three hours, then apply the final coat. it is dry overnight but the "final cure" is around 72hrs they say. i have never used por15 before so i have nothing to compare it to, the rep had me sold when they brought a sample by with a ball peen hammer. you cant chip this stuff off...
we are a body shop and i get it from one of my suppliers, its expensive though. my cost is a little over 40.00 for a quart

I have a few questions about the front suspension:
1.) Who is you welder? wow . . . The spring cups are amazing.
2.)Was the frame donor vehicle originally a 2wd? I would love to know if your cup style would work as a conversion from 2 to 4wd, since that's what I have. And there is 6" of snow on the ground.
3.) Are the radius arm mounts in double shear? Could not tell from the pics.
Edit: Checked again - they are.
4.) What springs/shocks are supporting the front end? The upper shock mounts appear stock. Springs?
5.) What process was used to remove rust from the frame and then coat it? How did you remove rust and then paint/coat the boxed sections?
Thanks in advance for the input. You have a very inspiring project.

2. frame and cab was an 85 4x4 w350 crew cab
3. no they are only single shear but should be more than enough. i can go back and add more later if need me. brackets are all cnc plasma cut
4. i originally purchased a set of 6" lift springs for a 94-02 dodge diesel pickup but they ended up being way to big and way too stiff. so i used my factory springs from the factory 95 along with the shocks and shock towers. i just had to redesign the factory coil buckets to what im running now and ended up with about 6" of lift as an end result. another perk is all the stuff is easy to replace as its all stock stuff just revamped.
5. i used a special media called "black beauty" in a media blaster, then epoxy primed the frame, next coated with a durable paint we use here for chasis' at our shop. we call it chassis black but im not sure the tech. name.
thanks for the kudos...
