4'' down pipe

So i called Stans Headers and asked them for a price on just a 4'' down pipe to the t-case and it was almost $430 and the hole package was $495.So my question is are Stans exhaust and the Donaldson truck muffler any good for the price or should i just build my own down pipe and mess around with all the BS and welding?or buy from others ?Also I put a 14cm2 N/WG turbo on so it has moved the down pipe back a 1.5in and he say the Stans on will bolt right on no worrys.

I'm wondering the same thing. Hopefully someone can clear this up for the both of us. It sounds expensive.

4" Dp

Why would you go to all that trouble when you can just use a 2nd gen 4" DP and the cast elbow and come out about 150$??

I've got my new Stan's system sitting at work still in the box waiting to be installed. I must say this is a NICE system! Very high quality. The muffler is a true straight-through one and has a bracket welded onto each end. Once I saw the muffler and quality of the down pipe I was convinced of my decision to purchase it. I bought it from shop in WA for $530 shipped.

He means the stock 94-98? elbow and a second gen 4" DP. Surely its better than the S-curve.
