366 spring in, AFC lever out

i figured out that if the throttle shaft is indexed to high, or it idles to high with the idle screw all the way in (lever resting on the case), the shut down selenoid is not effective to move the full load to the shutdown position (doesnt travel far enough). when i shut mine off with the throttle shaft indexed to high, it would idle down some but not shut off all the way. when i indexed it to the stock setting, it shut down correctly. im sure someone has already figured this out but i did the hard way and for all of you that put a 366 spring in, listen to what im sayin. i dont thing i f$$ked my selenoid yet. it runs and pulls dang hard though so thats a +
