2nd gen overdrive switch info
I am looking into doing the 2nd gen overdrive column switch mod - on my 93 W250. I did a search of past postings, and see the Mopar Part number listed for the od lever switch is: 1-04690522AB When I enter this number on the online Mopar parts places, there is no match. Is this the correct part number???

Billy,
That is the correct part number. I was just wondering..... are you searching in the right year category? You know how parts sites prompt you with the year and make? If you're searching for a shift mounted OD switch for a '93, it wouldn't list any. If you have a dealer nearby, it can be had for around $47 or so. It's a fast conversion too. On the shift mounted OD switch, one wire is for the ground and the other wire you simply tap into the existing orange wire from the original dash mounted switch. Hope this helps you.

Matt,
I tried searching for a 97 Dodge 2500, and the od column was not listed under the automatic trans category, nor under drive train electronics etc. I give up online I will just make the drive to the Dodge dealer, and order over the counter. Thanks anyways for the help!
