Nothing wrong with asking questions, that's why this forum is here. I didn't mean to sound testy.

After you check to make sure the wastegate actuator is set up right, I think you ought to pressurize the entire intake system from the turbo intake and put soapy water on all the joints. That's the only way to be sure you don't have a leak.

I doubt that the wastegate is hung up, I'd expect poor spoolup in addition to low boost if it was.

Forgive my impertenance. I've been following this thread. Has it occurred to you that perhaps your gauge is faulty? Get a regular air pressure guage and hook it in parallel with yours and see if they agree.

Well I got the fuel pin and put it in. I didn't get anymore boost. I was thinking there is probably 20-25ft of exhaust on this truck. Does anyone think that the exhaust is so long that it limits the flow therefore limiting the boost numbers. Hoprfully I will be able to shorten before I go to Florida on friday. What do you guys think crazy idea or what? It was too **** cold /windy outside today to get under it and mess with it. This truck spools up quick it just stops at 26psi.

This may seem basic or uneeded, but sometimes it's the things we overlook that sneek up on us

Does it feel like it's defueling before you get up higher RPMs?

As a test I would give it a few turns on the high idle screw ( full throttle stop )

Before I turned up my pump that made a world of difference on my stock truck. It just felt weak before that..Like racing RPMs but not getting anywhere kinda deal. Pulled stronger after that and didn't lay over at the top of each gear.

Worth a try. You could always put it right back where it was if it doesn't do anything.

I will check that out. The fuel screw is turned all the way in. I know that it is also getting full throttle. I will check out everything on the fuel pump again to make sure. It pulls strong each gear it doesn't fall flat at higher at RPM, well not til you start to get around the governor. I will check to make sure it is getting full throttle. I am almost sure that the pump is set up correctly. Double checking things is more productive then scratching my head!

I'm pretty sure it's not the wastegate stopping you. If the wastegate was open you'd have slow spoolup.

If you can dump the exhaust right after the muffler that would probably help. Most medium duty trucks have around 8 feet of exhaust including the muffler. You've got a school bus exhaust on that thing!

I think Edwin's suggestion is worth pusuing as well. You might want to hook that gauge up to a regulator to make sure there's not something hung up inside it. I know I'd feel if that was the problem, but at least it has a relatively cheap solution.
