would running a 21cm housing help cool things off a little when pulling turning 3000+ . I have a 16 now just wondering

From what I hear. Yes. You might lose around 5 pounds of boost. It would give less restriction on the hot side.

If you can keep the RPM up it will help just a little. As soon as the truck lugs down you will fall under the turbo and temps will skyrocket and power will drop. Unless your local track is extremely slick I think you'll have better results with the 16 cm you have now. The better lugging ability will help you off the line and gain you a few extra feet when the box gets over the pan.

i would run a 14 w/ waste gate with the stick

I have a 14 cm wastegated housing and would not recommend it to anybody. It costs too much for what it does. Save your money for a bigger turbo.
