215 Injector Nozzle + first gen. Injector = ?
Anyone done this? I had a bunch of injectors laying around from nozzle swaps and injector changes, so I decided to organize them. Well I threaded on a 215 nozzle from a '97 onto one of my stock '92 injectors. I seemed to go on just fine and looked like any other injector in the pile. Has anyone done this and ran it in a truck?

I did this, used the 2nd gen injector top and 1st gen nozzles. When we swapped my buddies '90 (9mm head) to the P-pump, we needed to use the 2nd gen injector lines which do not thread to a 1st gen injector. So being the brilliant idiot that I am, we took injectors apart and put the 2nd's on the 1st's and came up with a workable injector to run in a p-pumped, non intercooled (yet), 9mm head Cummins. And I think it runs actually very well for a 1/2 ton Cummins. 5th gear tire shreads at 65-70 mph's is kind of fun.
