I'm a tight edit fella and just use a LITTLE wheel bearing grease on most friction points, it works well enough and since I go thru brakes faster then that stuff dries out it works for me. I also spray a little silicone on the parking brake pivot mount and parts (rear brakes).
Be sure to wipe off any extra before it runs down on to the shoes!
And don't forget a little lube on the threads.

Even better "lube" for the caliper slides is to take some Dry powdered graphite, mix it with denatured alcohol, and use a small spray bottle or syringe to "wet" the sliders (with the caliper installed). the Alcohol will carry the graphite into the sliders then evaporate off.
No grease to catch grit or dry out, and it's not suseptible to heat...
