Its All P-Pump.. An A pump as the bolt on inspection plate on the side... Just a different Governor housing..

Is the difference just in the governor? Do they "turn up" the same way as a P Pump (plate)?

Easier to a point... 4 bolts remove the back cover.. 10mm loosen the jam nut.. and use a slotted screw driver... No plate...

At least you don't have to use a chisel... And there's no linkage in the way.... I used to adjust them all the time on the dyno...
