1st gen. project truck
I just saw this on Cl and thought someone on here might have an interest. It's listed as being in the same location as me, but I am not familiar with the truck. This would be about 45 miles south of Kansas City.

I think I test drove that truck. It needed trans and brake work last year I'm pretty sure it was a different owner though. The motor seemed solid. But alas the brakes "need to be bled" and we all know what that means.

If you drove one like it, it probably was IT. They have to be far and few between. I don't know anything about the truck or who own's it. I was just scanning CL when I saw it listed in Osawatomie, Ks. and I live a couple of miles out of town. Interesting truck though.

if its the same truck it used to be about 50 miles outside of st louis. I drove 3 hours to look at it and when I got there the guy said "now the tranny grinds just a little bit when its cold in 3rd and the back brakes just need to be bled" He said he forgot to mention it when I asked him if it was solid and roadworthy. It turned out that 3rd gear had no synchro left and 4th was not far behind the brakes were dangerous. I offered him $2500 to which he got very offended. In retrospect even that was too much.
