1st gen a-pillar mounts
Quick and easy question. Does a single or dual A-pillar guage mount obstruct the vies very much on a 1st gen.? Geno's has these for pretty cheap and they appear to look good. Also, andone have any pics of Apillar mounts on a 1st gen? Thanks in advance.

I don't know about that but I mounted my tach and gauges on the dashtop just to the right of center and angled them towards my face. The mounting cups for Autometer 2-1/16 gauges are available at Summit Racing. They look good there. I'm not crazy about the A-pillar mounts.

A-pillar mounts
Combine Geno's dual and single a-pillar mounts and you can have three. Place/mount the single pod towards the bottom, about 3/8" from the top of your dash. Trim about a 1/4" or so from the bottom of the dual pod and all will work and look like a solid 3 pod if you pre-paint the pods to match your interior trim. If you can swing the funds for extra guages, buy another dual pod like the one for the a-pillar and the steering wheel pod for the '94-'98. This steering pod will wiork on ours and is a great spot for an Isspro tach. The other dual pod will affix on the trim right above your driver side window, which can be used for fuel and oil pressure guages. I have full view of a total of 6 guages, non of which are in my line of sight to the road. Remember, though, to make it look trick, you gotta paint the pods to match the trim! Carmyne.
PS- I have this set up. Looks cool. Sorry, no pics from me.

AIK, where did you get the red dash paint? That appears to match pretty good. Do you have a color code or part #?
KartRacer,
I bought it at Canadian Tire a few years ago. The colour is called medium red and the part # is 47-8062-4.
