You got some real quality trucks there Cedar. Very nice! What sort of wheels are those on Colby's D350? Looks great with that gooseneck! Your Dad's truck is a fine looking truck too. Any mods on that? Going to look even better after a paint job. Sweet!

Thanks And the wheels on colby's is just the regular 1ton steel wheel with the simulater caps and kinda hard to tell in that pic but it is 4x4. As so dad's yea it's I have modded it the pump is wide open afc is MIA, hx35/16cm housing, 3inch intake piping and horn, full 4 inch exhaust and an ATS ex. manifold. Those are the current mods more may be to come unsure yet since everything is so prestine condition. Our plans for painting it is same color scheme with a twist be a metallic pearl white and the deep metallic red just to mainly give it a good little flare.

A truck needs a paint job and all of a sudden it becomes a donor truck. I cringe at all the 1st gen iron being scrapped out as donor trucks because they don't look pretty anymore...

Well, it needs more than a paint job. The other side was side swiped, but the cab was not touched, just the door, fender and all the way down the bed. It's a donor truck because I want at least a crew cab 1st gen and it was the cheapest truck with a cummins I could find. I got it for $825 + used stihl BR400 backpack blower + John Deere XT140SB with a hedge trimmer attachment- or I could have paid $1400 cash, but the guy needed lawn equipment. There is not a spot of rust anywhere underneath, so I will try to sell it whole or part it. I also have it up for $2K because I have seen some low mile county trucks that are rusted out sell pretty cheap on eBay. I'm all about preservation of the species.

I cringe at all the usable vehicles that were scrapped with "cash for clunkers" $4k a piece. Destruction of capital on a large scale. I have put 14K trouble free miles on the "clunker" I payed $4200 for last year. I'm sure there were many 1st gens in great shape that were scrapped under that program.
