Full size pics are posted, not attached. They have to be hosted somewhere online (your DTR gallery, Photobucket, etc.). Then you use the button to insert the url into your post.

Yep, I'm wondering where the bolts went that hold the valve covers down?

I agree, it looks like a pretty solid unit, besides for the valve cover bolts and the intake horn

That was taken during my head swap about a week ago so it wasn't all there yet. I call it a pile because it is compared to what I want it to be. Just thinkin' ahead of the curve.

Man I love the OD green paint on the piping, covers, and compressor housing. That looks sharp!

Thanks, it's CARC paint (Chemical Agent Resistant Coated) that we use in my shop.

Really? How does it get applied? Is it a spray-on application similar to conventional paint or is it more akin to a spray-on bed liner?

You can get it in large jugs ( for painting large pieces of military equipment) or rattlecans (what I used)

The stuff that you get in a jug does apply a bit thicker than the rattle can type. We have a big paint shop that we repaint humvee's and MTVR's in. The CARC paint comes in green and tan.

BTW: love the Avatar!
