I think a 4bt would be pretty cool in a super duty. You should be able to get 250-300hp out of it without too much hassle if it's a VE and it'd give ya much better fuel mileage than a 5.9

elephantrider you really should get a real intake, you're pulling hot air off the manifold and the alternator. and My buddy did that on his 12v and it sucked the filter in and twisted it up.

clean truck though, i don't know how you deal with that exhaust. without a turn down it must drone like crazy.

^ yup, i got one in the works now. i dont drive it very often, and its only pushing 30lbs or less of boost.

here's a vid of the exhaust from inside the cab. with the fte resonator, there is no drone.

about to put a 5" stack on it

exhaust was the 1st real mod

then I leveled the truck out

put some wheels on her

now she has an HX35, 5x12 sticks and some new valve cover gaskets

I posted mine once already but I'll throw a quick timeline up.

Here's my '90 when I got it in Dec. '08.

Tearing it down to replace the head gasket.

The transformation starts. Took the sleeper off and installed a rear window.

Prepared the flatbed for removal.

Lifted it off at the scrap yard.

Drove it like this for a week.

Then spent a day to get it to where it is now and after I gave her a bath.

Flipped the air tank and re-installed the Viair 400c compressor for the people movers.
