Thanks for that print Ron, it looks nice. Not 100% sure if I will build a new one or move mine back, but the option is nice.
The way I take it, Douglas is saying that the end of the shifter handle ends up in basically the same spot.

You have it exactly right Captain. Now with the trans mount I am using, I had to remove a small rib near the mount to clear it. I wish I had presence of mind to take pix whilst it was apart, but it isn't all that big.

How many bolts did you use to secure it to the frame? I need a new mount for my NV4500, right now I have a hunk of channel and 2 bolts as my mount....not my design PO did that one. I might give your design a try.

It's not supposed to rain tomorrow so I'll crawl under there and take a picture. It will make more sense if you see it welded up. I don't have the 5600in anymore but we used the same brace with a different tranny mount. The 5600 is a great mod in the first gen. The gear spacing made towing alot easier.
