1993 tranny noise

I have a 1993 dodge w250, with what I assume is the a518 with the lockup wired to a toggle switch. It seems fine in all gears except overdrive, as soon as I flick the switch for overdrive it starts shuttering, and gets worse as I pick up speed, anyone have any ideas? It sounds like a bad bearing but only happens in o/d

Does it shudder the entire time when ever it is in od or is it just as it is shifting?

The whole time it's in overdrive it shudders, I can feel it shift but nothing unusual, it starts as soon as it shifts into od and gets worse as I pick up speed.

There is a bearing in there that could be bad. Also maybe it is not fully engaging and the shudder you feel is the slippage. I am not sure someone will chime in that knows more than me.

Yep, I did mean overdrive, it only happens in overdrive, no other gear, it makes a vibration as well as a shuttering that gets worse with more rpm/speed,feels like it's slipping but only in overdrive, any help is appreciated!

The OD is on a toggle? Or are we talking about the factory pushbutton?
