I'm looking to buy a 1992 D250, auto, 2wd, reg. cab, 225k, new injector pump, with a nice Cadet western steel flatbed for 2,500.

Anything I should look for or be concerned with ?

Rust in the rain gutter over the windshield is a major concern. Also any hack wiring jobs will cause a few headaches. That being said, I can live with and fix a lot of problems for a $2500 truck w/a new pump and decent flatbed!! If it shifts in and out of OD, it may not be an expensive fix (search TPS), but could be a good bargaining point.

Rain gutter clean but windshield is leaking (not sealed right)....... needs tires and steering looked at (some play in the wheel)..... They aren't working at all on the price so i'm letting them call me.


Or is the truck a deal at 2,500 ?

2500 isn't a very bad price look around they are starting to climb in price I'de grab it before someone else does unless you don't need it ?
