Looks like it. I might just go with the tried and true Crown Royal bag shifter boot!

Today I cut a small wedge out of my down pipe and welded it back together to get it to fit right. Then since I was finished using the turbine housing to mock up tha down pipe I put it on the turbo along with the new waste gate actuator. then the brown truck brought my left hand threaded 6mm rod end. I need to shorten up the link about a 1/4" for it to work right.

Looks good, Mark...see, if I would have came over and bugged you to show me how to install AN fittings, you wouldn't have gotten all that done!

That looks good. Your hx 35 doesn't look anything like the one I had on mine. I still haven't really figured out what it came off of. I think it's just a eBay China made pos

It would have been a pleasure to see you again. I had the down pipe done when you called. and the turbo was done aside from the turbine housing and the waste gate. I had started the down pipe Sunday so all I did is finish up stuff I had already started.

I did test the waste gate pressure when I put the air to it for the install. It opens right at 30 psi. I ordered it from GDS with the 60mm compressor kit.

It could be Chinese. It is hard to say as there were/are different applications that these turbos were configured to. so it's hard to say.

Thank you sir.

I should gain a little going from a 50mm inducer to a 60mm
I really don't know how that little turbo hit 30PSI without exploding.

Hey, Mark, looking close at your turbo pics, I was wondering what size is that wastegated exhaust housing referenced as? Is that the 14cm WG, or a 12cm WG?

You finally got it all done, the truck, that is. That there is an accomplishment.
Now you're gonna be on the front pages of the Auburn Journal, for terrorizing all of Auburn by racing up and down 49.

That 12cm wastegated housing, if you read turbo upgrades on DTR from back in the early 2000's, was a highly sought after upgrade for a manual transmission 1stGen. I think you'll be OK I'm sure, for in town driving.

Now the drive to Oklahoma might be a different story. If it has the steep grades it may get choked out. I could be wrong on that part.

I think we will go the southern route there a couple places we want to stop for pictures. any it is normal for me to watch the gauges and if it gets warm drop a gear.
