I can't find the memory card for my old point and shoot camera so I had to use my regular camera. That means that I have to process the pictures and reduce the file size. So That will get done later.
As for the truck I got the brake lines bent up. and the valve in the power steering pump swapped for the old inverted style. Today I will get the brake lines on and start the pluming for the steering /hydroboost.

Glad you live close, Mark. If I ever decide to go HB I'll have to look you up and head down to the Rocklin P&P

This morning I got the brake lines plumed up. I had to re do them because the first time I made them up I had cranial flatulence and made them backwards.. Yesterday I made up the pressure hose from the power steering pump to the hydro boost(Blue) I even got enough time to braze the fitting on the tube that feeds the RR steering gear. Then it started to rain.
Istill have to make a brace for the fitting end of the tube and the hose that goes from the HB to the steering gear.

I spent some time today working up an estimate of how much marine vinyl I need to sew up the transfer case and shift boots. I also worked on a brace for my power steering pressure line.
But first I ordered some more parts from summit racing. nothing too exciting just some hose and fittings for some return lines and a "V" and band clamps for my exhaust.

Whoohoo, A box with enough parts to clamp my exhaust together arrived today. meanwhile while on our grocery shopping pilgrimage I picked up a yard of maroon marine vinyl. for my shift boots. now I have to oil up my old singer industrial sewing machine.
And yes it is modified too.

I ordered a king pin rebuild kit from Ventures tonight. Some more parts for the collection I also decided to go with a stud post battery so the coming mods will be easier. Plans are to swap out the fusable links for maxi fuses. and add relays for lights and heater fan.
only a few hundred parts to go

Today i made these. They are muffler hangers that fit on my band clamps, two per clamp.

Hope that makes sense.

I am hoping that with two hangers per clamp pulling straight down on a rubber isolater there won't be enough load to cause them to move. The problem is the exhaust came out about 2" to the right of where it would normally go. that put the original hangers in the center of the pipe.

Hey, Mark, when you do the king pins on your project lets do another get together, ok. I'd like to watch n learn if you know what I mean.
My assistance will be limited; that's all dependent on how far out you plan on doing this, as I am sorta still in the healing stages. The farther out you put the king pins out, the more of an assistance I can be.
But whenever you decide to do them, pm or call.
Thanks, neighbor
