No matter how I slice it I will likely end up with a mixed bag of fittings. so I am thinking about adapter fittings to AN-6 hose.
This eliminates the odd ball custom hose with the o-ring fitting on one end and the inverted flare on the other. The plan is to have a spare hose the same length as the longest pressure hose. That will fit both pressure lines. Plug it with aluminum plugs and zip tie it to the bottom of the seat frame.
that is if there is enough room.

I have all the parts for the RR to use stock hoses but with the master cylinder leaking I will likely go to a hydro boost. I am not planning on fighting leaking MCs until I find a good one.
But I remembered there are incerts to convert the o-ring fittings to inverted flare. so that is one option
Unless I can find a booster with inverted flare fittings.

This is for a 1977 K30 Chevy with a 454 & hydroboost, with inverted flare fittings. So, inverted flare all around could be an option. I'm working on my hose lengths & routing using JIC 6 hose & fittings, but I am not sure it was the best way to go, and I don't even have a RR steering gear.
I can't remember what I used for my jeep ten years ago. But it took awhile to find hoses that would work. I have a book with all the parts I used to build it but my wife has re-rearranged things.

AHHH the Diary of a Mad Man.
I have a few of those too.
You need one when your truck has 20 years, and 10 different Dodge trucks mixed into one truck to get just what you want.

If i could find a fitting Like this with a 11/16-18?(if it's 5/8-18 we are in business) thread for a -6 hose for the steering box pressure fitting the rest would be easy. Adapting the inverted flare and the metric o-ring fittings to #6 AN is easy to find adapters for.
The pressure port on the steering box is the tough one.

I spent quite a bit of time looking a fittings yesterday. The hardest part of the swap is the plumbing.

Give Lee powersteering a call.Rebuild and Misc :: Lee Manufacturing Company Sun valley, CA 91352 Steering gears Pumps Reservoirs I called them about the LEE POWER STEERING ADAPTER KIT those little looked like a ticket. The guy I talked to knew more about AN-6 and old steering gears than any body that I talked to before.
