i've got my fingers crossed while i type this, but my pump is still running strong after ?2000+? miles. i would have trouble telling somebody to NOT get one. i think it's great. drivability is great. power is great. mileage? the book is still out on that one (i don't have an odometer). it works great with the injectors i have. VERY little smoke in the 450+ hp range. all in all, i can't complain. and i would NOT recommend building the pump. i've done everything on my truck, except that. i know i could've done it, i just don't know if i'd still be driving it.
